Key Responsibilities
🔹 Client-Centered Design
- Understand the client’s lifestyle, family structure, and daily routines to design accordingly.
- Provide suggestions on space optimization, themes, lighting, and materials that balance aesthetics and functionality.
- Communicate clearly—what’s feasible, what’s not, and why.
🔹 Smart Software Management
- Maintain all updates and conversations in the internal software for seamless coordination across design, site, and factory teams.
- Avoid last-minute changes by documenting design decisions and ensuring team visibility.
🔹 Design Process Ownership
- Ensure all design decisions are updated in drawings and BOQ accurately.
- Keep the client and team posted with timely updates and MoMs.
- Work on multiple stages of design—concept, 2D, 3D, material selection, and walkthroughs.
🔹 Creative & Technical Excellence
- Stay up to date with trending finishes, hardware, space-saving mechanisms, and modular innovations.
- Ensure all designs are technically sound and execution-ready—zero gaps between vision and build.
🔹 Team Collaboration
- Coordinate with the sales, 2D, cutlist, and project team to ensure smooth handovers and no communication lapses.
- Guide junior designers or interns when required.
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
- 1–4 years of experience in residential interiors.
- Strong in design software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray, Photoshop, etc.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail, with a solution-focused mindset.
