1. General
- These Terms apply only to online product purchases via our website.
- For interior design projects, please refer to our separate Interior Terms & Conditions page.
- Decotales reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time, and changes will apply to future orders.
2. Pricing & Payments
- All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable GST.
- Payments are processed securely via Razorpay (Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, UPI, Wallets).
- Full payment must be received before an order is processed and dispatched.
- In case of a pricing or listing error, Decotales reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.
3. Cancellation Policy
- Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement, provided dispatch has not begun.
- Once dispatch is initiated, cancellations will not be accepted.
- To request cancellation, customers must email designz@decotales.com or call +91 96069 88791 with their order number.
4. Refund Policy
- Eligible refunds will be processed through Razorpay.
- Refunds may take 5–7 working days to reflect, depending on your bank/payment method.
- Refunds will be made to the original payment source only.
- Refunds cannot be cancelled or reversed once initiated.
- Processing fees charged by the bank/payment gateway are non-refundable.
5. Dispatch & Delivery
- Orders are typically dispatched within 5–10 business days after payment confirmation.
- Delivery times vary by location and courier partner availability.
- Customers will receive a tracking link once the order is dispatched.
- Any delay due to courier/logistics is outside Decotales’ control, but support will be provided to track and resolve issues.
6. Returns & Replacement
- Only products that are defective or damaged on arrival are eligible for replacement.
- Customers must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs and proof of damage.
- Return shipping costs for approved returns will be borne by Decotales.
- Products must be returned in original packaging and unused condition.

- Customers must provide a full, continuous unboxing video of the package from the moment it is received and opened.
- The video must clearly show the condition of the outer packaging, seal, and product as it is unpacked.
- Without such an unboxing video, no claims for damage/defect will be accepted.
- Customers must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with the unboxing video, photographs, and proof of damage.
- Products must be returned in original packaging and unused condition.
- Return shipping costs for approved returns will be borne by Decotales.
7. Warranty
- Warranty, if applicable, will be stated on the individual product page.
- No warranty applies beyond what is explicitly mentioned at purchase.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Decotales is not liable for delays caused by courier, unforeseen circumstances, or incorrect shipping details provided by the customer.
- We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from product use.
9. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of Bangalore courts.

11. Product Variations
Natural variations in wood grain, polish, and finish are expected. Product images are for representation only, and minor differences in color, shade, or texture will not be considered defects.
12. Assembly & Installation
Products will be delivered in ready-to-use condition unless otherwise specified. Where assembly is required, instructions will be provided. Customers are responsible for arranging assembly unless Decotales offers this as a paid service.
13. Customized Orders
Products made to order or customized as per customer specifications are non-cancellable and non-refundable once production has begun.
14. Delivery & Site Access
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the ordered product can be moved into the delivery location. If delivery fails due to restricted entry, narrow staircases, or unavailable lifts, Decotales will not be liable for return or refund.
15. Warranty Coverage
Warranty, if mentioned on the product page, covers only manufacturing defects. It does not cover damage due to misuse, accidents, exposure to water/moisture, pests, or normal wear and tear.
16. Force Majeure
Decotales shall not be held liable for delays or failure in delivery caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or transport disruptions.
A) Privacy Policy Enhancements
We collect only necessary personal data (name, contact, address, payment info) to process your order. By checking out, you consent to sharing this with Decotales and our payment partner, Razorpay, solely for order fulfilment and related communication.
B) Policy Updates Clause
We may modify these Terms or Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of our site after updates indicates acceptance of the changes.
